Cocoa Bean Origin: Tumaco, Columbia
Notes: on the Pacific coast of Colombia lies the remote region of Tumaco, an area inhabited by escaped slaves forming Colombia's largest Afro-Colombian community. The river shores are lined with mangrove and dense tropical forest, having an equatorial climate with heavy rainfall year round. This region has a native cacao varietal located upstream from the coast.
With deep chocolate flavours and mild bitterness, there is no other varietal better suited for an 85% cacao bar. This chocolate is recommended for the enthusiast seeking full flavor, high antioxidants, and low sugar content. You will discover complex flavours of rum, molasses, cinnamon and barley malt in the finish.
Ingredients: cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic cocoa butter
(Made in a facility that uses milk and wheat. Nut-free)
