Notes: if we go to the very beginning in the history of chocolate, we come to the Aztecs in Mexico. They were the first to make a cocoa drink. Water, cocoa and some vanilla and cayenne pepper were the basis for their "xoxóatl". Translated: bitter water or cocoa water. Our drinking chocolate is reminiscent of the inventors only in the name. But even today you can still add your favourite spices, depending on your taste.
