Notes: we love to collaborate with fellow Asheville makers, like the folks at Spicewalla, who import vibrant spices and blend them in the same maker space as our Chocolate Factory. After creating spiced white and milk chocolate bars with Spicewalla, we craved a pure dark chocolate to round out the collection. Naturally, we opted to feature the same Indian cacao used in the Chai Masala bar.
The Anamalai Farm is a cocoa, coconut, and nutmeg farm located near the town of Pollachi; a spot with endless fields of tea and abundant spices grown in biodiverse forests.
In this bright and clean 71% dark chocolate, we taste sweet strawberries, tart cherries, and hibiscus tea.
